You just can't beat Roy Rogers for being the best all-around movie & TV cowboy. Yes, Gene Autry and John Wayne were tops, but Roy Rogers was the best all-American image of what was right and proper with America at one time. For boys & girls who grew up during his reign on the silver screen and TV, it was a time of great wonder and excitement. Too bad today's youth have no more REAL heroes instead of the fake ones whose only morality is money and drugs. No wonder America is dropping in stature. Infuse it with more of the likes of Roy Rogers and we would see a rebirth of greatness in this nation.
