Poster's note:  The famous composer and songwriter Allie Wrubel was my next door neighbor in 29 palms California back in the 1950's.  Although I was just a little guy at the time, I still have sweet memories of sitting in the livingroom of his Spanish Hacienda style home listening to great jazz.
