“Jamaica Farewell” is a famous calypso song about the beauties of the West Indian Islands.

The lyrics for the song were written in 1926 by Lord Burgess (Irving Burgie). The song appeared on Harry Belafonte’s phenomenally successful album “Calypso” in 1956.
