Roy Rogers radio show was on radio for Quaker Oats during this period in a western adventure program.  "Tumbling Tumbleweeds" which was written by Bob Nolan of the Sons of the Pioneers. Roy had been a member of this group but at the time of his radioshow, he was using Fou Willing and the Riders of the Purple Sage.
